We are surrounded by data, and many in the industry already are already whispering "data is what data is". And this whisper can be perceived as a koan to make us think. In that trend we should perhaps contemplate a little very now and then, before we continue on our data management path. If not for our own mental health, than for the health of our data and organization who's responsible every step of the way. If the data is not modelled after our own communication, then what does our data communicate? Perhaps we could be a little more aware of what this question beholds and what the impact is if we cannot answer that.
