Summary | 0003764: Moving an IGD to another IG does not re-synchronize
Description | Moving an IGD to another IG which may have the same names of OTFTs, but with different internal identifiers, does not prompt the user to update the diagram content to be in sync with the new IG. It may lead to temporarily disconnected roles, or duplicate OTFTs.
Tags | No tags attached. | ||||
CaseTalk Edition | unknown
Usually a disconnect and connect should solve the issue at hand, but since the IGD does not know for which IG (or Namespace) it was created, it should remember some sort of signature to force this automatically.
The diagram requires an upgrade of the fileformat. Inside it'll remember the IG (namespace) it was last connected with. If this identifier changes, the user is prompted to synchronize the diagram to solve any inconsistencies.
