Summary0003432: Skip saving IG(G)x
DescriptionSaving IG(G)X files is only there for communication with the CaseTalk Manager and Viewer.
It slows down the saving of files, and creates overhead while uploading from the IG could be direct from the Modeler now.
With the new ERD/UML/MAP generator, the Viewer is to be announced end-of-life.

Save IG(G)X is made optional for enterprise editions and can be turned off in the tools\preferences.

  • Preferences allow user to surpress saving xml files with ig, prj, and igd.
  • Upload models through Teams Menu no longer requires an IGX.

If the Viewer is no longer used, and uploads are not done through the Manager but through the Teams menu, the preference for saving IGx may be turned off for performance reasons.
