Summary | 0002950: External project files may crash
Description | Files which are moved outside the projectfolder and linked may crash CaseTalk when reopening the project from a different file path.
Steps To Reproduce | Start a project, add files from outside the projectfolder. Save the project on a drive. Open the project from another drive and the crash may occur.
Tags | No tags attached. | ||||
CaseTalk Edition | unknown
Saving files outside of the project folders, will create shortcuts in the project folder. This way Windows will keep track of the file content, even when moved with the Explorer. This way CaseTalk is able to resolve the content, even when outside if its scope. (And removal of files from the project no longer results in an intermediate a.v. dialog).
