Summary | 0002536: Save As while file is deleted from disk fails | ||||
Description | Having project files open, and deleting them from disk, prevents the file to get saved again. CaseTalk will remember the file already exists in the project and block from using Save As. "The file already exists in the project" is displayed. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1) open a project and IG file 2) delete the IG file from disk using Explorer 3) select "File\Save As" and accept the existing filename 4) "File already exists ..." message is displayed. Even though the file does not exist on disk, casetalk still prevents from re-using the same name. | ||||

Even though the scenario is rare, the ui was fixed to allow saving under pre-existing names when the file is no longer on disk. | |
