Summary | 0004395: Provide Group/Ungroup function
Description | When tables are entered, they consist of a fact type and a role for each column. This is the first step in reverse engineering. Some beginners even make the mistake to verbalize facts that way. The lack of Object Types does that. It could prove helpful to be enter a fact types like that, and after a UC is specified, have CaseTalk UNGROUP this into an Object Type with many (binary) Fact Types. Naturally the expressions would be generated, and the user needs to apply more verbalizations to make a full conceptual model according to FCOIM, but technically it could prove to be useful. Similarly the GLR algorithm performs such GROUPing in an automated fashion.
