Summary | 0004147: Hide some role relations in the diagram |
---|
Description | Like concepts and containers, some relationships are candidate to be hidden in a specific diagram. Sometimes the long and crossing lines can be cumbersome when adding a new OTFT to the diagram. Simply hiding some long relationships from sight, because they distract users from the issue depicted.
Being able to hide roles (and their relationships) is an almost existing feature, combining the two might make it effective. |
---|
Steps To Reproduce | E.g. When a deep taxnomoy structure adds a related fact type with a role back to the supertype, the actual taxonomy depicted becomes unclear to novice readers. The fact type may have multiple relations into a deep taxonomy, but for the purpose of easy reading, one of the relationships is relevant, the other maybe not so much. |
