| Description | A database view is based upon a query on the tables. Providing support for database views therefor require view definitions. A way to provide this, is to perform some sort of pre-selection on the conceptual model. This can also be helpful for a hierachy-like data handeling like XML. These are typically not networked information structures, yet contain a root with children etc. Similar support would be needed to provide Cassandra modeling, where the normalisation is not important, but the required queries mandate the database structure. | ||||
