Business Glossary

The Business Glossary feature allows exporting and importing business terms and their definitions to and from external spreadsheet files (XLS format). This supports governance workflows where domain experts maintain terminology outside CaseTalk.

Export Business Glossary

Exports the current model's object types, fact types, and their descriptions to a spreadsheet file.

1. Open a project with an active repository
2. Choose File → Export Business Glossary
3. Select the output file location
4. The glossary is saved and added to the project file list

Import / Merge Business Glossary

Imports business terms from a spreadsheet file back into the model. Existing terms are merged (updated) while new terms are added.

1. Open a project with an active repository
2. Choose File → Import Business Glossary
3. Select the glossary file to import
4. Terms are merged into the active repository

This feature requires the Enterprise edition.
