| Summary | 0005959: Coach observations are lost when the panel or the session closes | ||||
| Description | The coach comments on the model while it is being worked on, and the observation appears in the main window. That is the whole life of it: close the panel, or end the session, and the advice is gone. There is no way to look back at what the coach said earlier, and nothing of it travels with the project. Expected: the coach's observations are kept with the project, the way the todo list is - readable later, going along when the project is archived or handed over. Related: with no connector named by hand, automatic coaching never triggered at all, so on a default installation the coach only spoke when asked. | ||||

Implemented in 15.0.0.57607. The coach's observations are now kept with the project, in a companion file beside it, written when the project is saved and read back when it is opened. It is a project companion in the full sense, so a folder clean-up leaves it alone and an archive takes it along. Automatic coaching also arms itself when no connector has been named by hand: CaseTalk picks the first connector that is actually able to answer. |
