| Summary | 0005719: Allow multiple concept types on one object/fact type (e.g. ELM and ArchiMate at once) | ||||
| Description | An object/fact type can currently be given a single concept type, which drives its symbol and classification (for example an ELM icon, or an ArchiMate element such as Business Role). There is a need to classify one type under more than one scheme at the same time - for example marking the same type as both an ELM Person and an ArchiMate Role. Proposal: allow an object/fact type to carry multiple concept types, using a ";" separator so it stays backward compatible in storage/streaming. Each view or export (ELM icons, ArchiMate export, ...) would then pick the concept type relevant to it, and a type could participate correctly in several notations simultaneously. | ||||
